The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) serves as the administrator of the UK government scholarship scheme for international development. Purpose: Supported by the FCDO, Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships give the opportunity to people to obtain necessary training and skills for sustainable development which cannot be obtained in the scholars’ home countries.

Intended beneficiaries:

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are intended for students from selected low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries who want to study a part-time Master’s programme with Universities in the UK without physically moving to the United Kingdom.Such scholarships are available within six categories of CSC development focus.s the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development objectives.
